Where is Sards?
Sardinia Bay, which lies between Schoenmakerskop and Seaview, is accessed by traveling to the start of the trail in Schoenmakerskop. This popular beach has picnic facilities and is regarded as one of the best walking beaches with miles of unspoilt coastline. Sardinia Bay is also the starting point of the very popular eight-kilometer Sacramento hiking trail. Some of the best spots to enjoy the sunset.
Can you surf at Sards?
Conditions need to be perfect but yes, there are waves out at Sards, either the beach break to the left down the dune or if you want to take a little hike down the dune to the right to Kays, you will definitely find waves.
Can I take my dogs to Sards?
Yes yes and absolutely yes. Dogs and horses alike are more than welcome at Sards. Just keep you dogs on their leads, I know you trust your dog, but please don’t be that guy.
